On the Fourth of July, 1845, Henry David Thoreau moved into a one-room cabin he built himself on Walden Pond. He called it his own declaration of independence: a man deciding what he actually needed, and what he could do without. The country could stand to hear that again.
This design puts Thoreau at the water's edge at dusk, fireworks going off over the far shore, under the words Independence in Nature. The full design is printed on the back.
